Dear Diary, Am I the next Shakespeare?

           4-8-91
Dear diary,

Here's a poem I want to remember. It's made up buy me.
                                                                    Shonelle

In the sunshine I can see your face looking down at me.
In the cloud way up high, I see your face in the sky.
Even when I pick up a dart, you are always in my heart.
If I can see you or if I cannot you are always at some spot.
Even if you're not at my touch, I'll always love you very much.

My poetry career was short lived.

This was the last entry in my little blue diary with white hearts, three weeks before I turned 10.

Any poem that rhymes "dart" with "heart" is awesome in my book!

Even when you pick up a dart? Wow, that's love. Who was up in the sky? Is this a love poem to God?

Yes, Kim. I was having a passionate love affair with the Allmighty. If only I could tell you what was going on in that nerdy little head of mine. I vaguely remember struggling to find words that rhymed during my brief poetry phase, but the inspiration itself... well, like all great poetry is left to your interpretation. :)
